About CCA Figure Skating Club

Operating since 1987, CCA Figure Skating Club has delivered skating instruction at Flames Community Arenas in Calgary for nearly four decades. Programmes span learn-to-skate, introductory and advanced figure skating, and power skating, with a pre-school stream and a Hockey Buddies programme rounding out the youth offerings.

Power skating sessions concentrate on balance, strength, and agility, targeting hockey players from age four upward. Small-group formats are used across the programme, and the full range of streams means skaters can progress from beginner learn-to-skate into more specialised figure skating or hockey-focused training within the same club.
