About East Central Hockey Development
Founded by Jason Hegberg in 2011, East Central Hockey Development runs a five-day hockey school at the Stettler Recreation Centre in Alberta. The programme blends on-ice skill development with off-ice conditioning, and is open to both male and female players.
On-ice sessions cover power skating, shooting, scoring, checking, and defensive skills. Specialised clinics run alongside a 3-on-3 tournament that puts skills into a game-context setting. Hegberg holds NCCP certification and operates within Hockey Canada's Long Term Player Development framework.
