About Fire and Ice Hockey Development
Founded by Whitney Juszkiewicz in 2015, Fire and Ice Hockey Development delivers on-ice skills training, team programmes, and a structured coach development curriculum serving players and coaches across Vancouver and Burnaby.
Programme offerings span a wide range, from the Fury Spring Programme and Fury Summer Camps to the Fury Academy and The LAB — a dedicated skills environment — alongside coach mentorship seminars and webinars. The organisation holds Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Master Coach Developer, and BC Hockey Coach Mentor certifications, reflecting a focus that extends well beyond player development into coaching education.
Primary programming targets youth players at the U8–U13 level, with an emphasis on game sense and hockey IQ alongside technical skill work. Team training is available in addition to individual and group sessions.
