About Wave Hockey
Based at Wave Twin Rinks in Burlington, Conacher Hockey runs on-ice development programmes spanning power skating, shooting, stickhandling, and goalie training. The facility includes two full-size NHL arenas, two mini pads, and the Limitless Training Systems off-ice centre, accommodating a wide range of formats from private sessions to group clinics. Head coach Nick Rotondi leads the programme, which is affiliated with NHL alumnus Cory Conacher.
Programme offerings cover a broad spectrum: Learn to Skate and Learn to Play entry points sit alongside All Skills Clinics, Dynamic Defense, small-area games, and body-checking clinics. Dedicated girls programmes and P.A. Day and summer camps round out the schedule. Players from beginner through rep-level are served.

What parents say
“If I could give zero stars, I would. We signed our preschooler up for their "Learn to Skate" program. The website description says: "Professionally Certified Coaches with their Trained Instructors, teach children skating skills using toys, music and games." First class: no toys, no music, no games, kids are supposed to jump on the ice, with the helper bars, no instructions. Two teenagers and one older woman. Most of the kids were crying. There is absolutely no structure for them. My little one left after 15 minutes, the instructor simply brought him back out of the ice with a "here you go, go to mom". We asked for a partial refund since it was not adequate for us, they said no, the amount can be used as credit. Credit for what if the program is terrible? I am a part of many different parents groups in town and I will make sure to tell others to stay away from this place. Not professional or flexible at all. Do not recommend for little ones.”
