About BioSteel Sports Academy
Based in Windsor, Ontario, BioSteel Sports Academy runs a study-train-play model that integrates competitive hockey development with Ontario Secondary School Diploma coursework. The academy holds accreditation from both the Ministry of Ontario and Hockey Canada's Accredited School Programme (HCAS), allowing student-athletes to pursue their diploma without stepping away from the ice.
Programmes span on-ice skill sessions, off-ice strength and conditioning, and team training, with options ranging from full Study-Train-Play enrolment to academic-only tracks. Competitive streams include U14, U16, and U18 Boys AAA, U22 Girls AA, and a Girls U18 Prep Programme, serving players aged 14U to 19U who are targeting AAA-level competition in Canada and the United States.
Head coach Eric Palazzolo leads the hockey programme. The academy's structure is designed for players who need a structured environment that balances classroom requirements with a demanding training schedule.
