Founded in 2018 and operating out of the Orléans area of Ottawa, SPS Hockey Development is owned and run by Zach Gillam, a Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coach and Hockey Canada High Performance I Coach. The operation works with players, teams, coaches, and associations across a range of ages and skill levels, with a focus on technical and tactical development both on and off the ice.
Programme offerings include off-season player development, team development, and a distinct coach-facing stream that covers clinics, mentoring, and Hockey Canada / HEO-sanctioned sessions. Private one-on-one sessions and custom clinics allow for tailored work at the individual or group level.
With eight years of operation, the programme has developed a track record in the Ottawa market for breaking down technique and adapting training to individual players.
