Extra Ice

Founded by Chris MacDonald and operating across Markham, Unionville, Richmond Hill, and Oakville, Extra Ice Hockey School targets house league and lower-level competitive youth players from U8 through U13. The focus is on power skating, stickhandling, and puck control delivered through structured on-ice sessions that incorporate small-area games and tag drills to keep workouts engaging.

Programme options include pre-season and summer training, the high-performance HPXI stream, pre-tryout preparation, and customisable team training sessions. The blend of skill-specific repetition and athletic movement drills reflects a deliberate approach to keeping younger players active and confident on the ice rather than running purely technical clinics.
