About Markham Skating Club
Operating since 1964, Markham Skating Club offers a full range of Skate Canada–sanctioned programmes at its Markham, Ontario facility. Offerings span PreCanSkate, CanSkate, StarSkate, PowerSkate, and an Excel Summer StarSkate programme, alongside private lessons, adult skating, and open Ticket Ice sessions. Coaches hold both N.C.C.P. and Skate Canada certifications.
The club serves children, teens, and adults, making it one of the few local options that accommodates skaters from their very first steps on ice through advanced Gold Level testing. PowerSkate sessions are structured specifically for hockey and ringette players looking to sharpen skating mechanics, while StarSkate and private coaching pathways support figure skaters at progressive skill levels.
